Fat Thighs Rubbing
I woke up really early this morning, 5am. I’m not sure why my body decided it had had enough sleep at that point. I laid there for a while before I decided maybe I should get up and take advantage of time and get out for a run before the temperature reached 100 degrees. It doesn’t take long for that to happen in Phoenix. It’s really nice out at 6am. I put my running shoes on and headed out the door. I’ve had these running shoes for a while, but they haven’t seen much running. In fact, I bought them, Reeboks, for their looks, knowing that I probably wouldn’t be doing much running.
It’s hard running when you used to be a good runner. I used to be a good runner. I ran all through college on scholarships. Of course, that was when I weighed 110 lbs soaking wet. I’m 30 lbs away from that. It might not seem like much, but you trying carrying around a 30 lbs sack for a while. It gets heavy. That’s about what my backpack weighs. Anyway, the weight isn’t so much the factor as where the weight is. My thighs are huge, and they rub together when I run. I hate that. If that is not motivation enough alone, I don’t know what is. The worst is my shorts keep riding up in the thigh area exposing my fat and allowing the two to rub skin on skin. It’s not a pretty picture. Anyway, I made it about three miles in 36 minutes. I didn’t run the whole way. Are you kidding? I did a little walk/job thing. I wouldn’t really call it running. I’ll get there soon.

I decided to take the day off. I’ll do my upperbody workout tomorrow. Four days in a row might be a bit much. I did my cardio, and that’s important.
