My Virtual Model is Hot!

Okay, this is just plain silly, but silly I am. So what. I discovered this site today called My Virtual Model that lets you do just that, create a virtual model of yourself. The concept stems from the idea that people who shop online could try the clothes on virtually so they can see if they fit and what they look like on “your” body before you buy. Interesting. But the site offers a little more than that. They have a whole weight loss section where you can create your model and then see what you would look like once you’ve lost the weight. The three choices are:

In the Levi area you can try on jeans, of course, and the Prevention site lets you try on swim suits. I didn’t try out the Nutrisystem site. Now this is a great concept, but I have a problem with my virtual model. She looks hot at my current weight, 136, and at the goal weight of 125. I can’t even see a difference. I even lowered the goal weight to 120. It’s the same. Hell, why bother if I look like that now and later.

She most certainly doesn’t have my thunder thighs. See that white space between her legs? The space that indicates no rubbing, no touching of the thighs? THAT does not exist in real life with my body. Nope. There’s no white space. :-O

Today’s Workout:

In an earlier post I wrote about my morning gym workout at Pure Fitness. I ran for 25 minutes and did a lower body weight workout for 30 minutes.  Then at 2pm I went to swim class. We worked on sculling and kicking. We swam or did drills for about 30 minutes, then I swam my 400 yards after class in 10:27. I’m starting to feel better in the water. Louise helped me with my kicking, and that really feels better now that I’m not bending the knees so much. Now it’s just a rhythm thing I have to get down. Total calories burned for today: 803
