“New Year’s Revolution”
12 Week Body Challenge
YOUR GAME PLAN
Why have I elected to do the 12 Week Body Challenge?
I have elected to do the Challenge because I’m at that point where it’s time to stop the madness. I’ve gained 10lbs over the last year and I’m starting to feel lifeless, tired and unfit. The Challenge will hopefully enlighten me. I can be very focused for short periods of time, but lose focus when I don’t see results. Being a part of the Challenge will at least keep me focused for 12 weeks. Also it will be good for me to just focus on one thing and not 20, so I’m not going to worry about anything but this. I’m just going to do this, and see what happens.
What are my goals?
My goals are to tone up, lose the fat in my belly and thighs, and stay consistent with my training and train smarter. I also want to be more consistent with my diet. I already eat well, but I have trouble eating enough and eating often enough.
Prioritize your top three goals.
1. Lose weight – 20lbs
2. Tone up – build muscle
3. Consistent dieting – eat better and eat more
What is my action plan in order to achieve my top three goals?
My plan of action is to workout everyday. I have this; I have the gym, and I signed up for swimming class and a tri class. I plan and prepare all of my meals the night before, so I’ll have everything I need throughout the day. I’ve also purchased food to keep at work. I have a blog, a mobile blog and a fitness website to help me keep track of it all. Gyminee keeps track of calories I eat and keeps track of my weight and calories I burn, and my blog is where I post everyday my progress: drcoop.wordpress.com. I have a moblog that I post what I eat to so I can remember what I eat.
What is my biggest fear about the program?
My biggest fear is not really about the program, but about myself. I fear I’ll make it through 12 weeks and won’t have any improvement. It’s not really a debilitating fear, but if I have to list one, that would be it. But what it would mean is that I have failed, and the only way to fail is to not do what you are supposed to do. See how that works?
What thought, intention, or image will help me stay motivated and focused during the program?
The image of a flat stomach will help me stay motivated and focused during the program. This is actually quite ironic since I can’t stand to do ab work.
I just revealed my weakness.

Alisa,
this is so great! I love this. I will be checking this site weekly as you tell me your progress.
I am going to encourage you to really stay focused on your food intake. If you haven’t seen change in the past year(s) and feel like you have been doing things somewhat right, then I can almost guarantee you it is in your nutrition.
Planning ahead will take you very very far. After a while it just becomes part of who you are, but at the start can seem very much a pain in the @$$. CUt out the crap if you know what i mean. Remove the empty calories and eat those WHOLE foods. whole grains (not enrriched man made and engineered stuff) and fruits and veggies. Plenty of those babies. You just need to place those crappy food choices it at the altar of sacrafice for the next 12 weeks. You will feel and eventually look like a new person.
Weigh in on Monday. If you don’t see any progress I will take a further look at your week and we can get specific. And Iam more than happy to take a look whenever you like. Just bring your journal to class and we can talk.
Keep the focus,
Alisa
